A third video of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State allegedly receiving bribe has emerged.
An online portal, Daily Nigerian, which released the video, said it obtained a 15-series trove of the video clips where the governor allegedly received a total of $5 million bribe from contractors.
The online portal had earlier released two of the videos where the governor was supposedly receiving part of the money.
With the release of a third video, 12 more videos showing where the governor was allegedly receiving parts of the money may be published in the coming days.
The paper said the video came following a sting operation carried out for about two years after they received a complaint from the contractors.
Kano State government had since denied the video, claiming that it was cloned, and that they are heading to court over the matter.
The Presidency had also said through the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Eriwa, claimed that the video was doctored.
Meanwhile, the state House of Assembly is currently investigating the video and had last Thursday invited the editor of the paper, Jaafar Jaafar, before its public hearing on the matter.
Mr. Jaafar, who submitted the video evidence to the House committee, had told them that the video was authentic and not doctored.
