All the department of the team is faced with stiff competition while the players are battling it out among each other to pick the first team shirt for the crucial match against host South Africa.

However, he stated that he and his assistants would pick the best team that will make Nigeria proud and get the qualification ticket with a match to spare after the Johannesburg encounter.
“The camp is going on well. We made training this afternoon (Wednesday). All the 23 players are fit. We have four (4) strikers who can replace Odion Ighalo and they are Isaac Success, Osimhen, Henry Onyekuru or Kelechi Iheanacho. I can also tell you that the new players are well integrated in the team. So we are good to go”, Rohr disclosed.
