Ghanaian prophet foresees disaster in Nigeria, reveals Buhari’s plan in the 2019 election

Head Pastor of the Glorious Wave Chapel International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has predicted doom for Nigeria ahead of the country’s elections.

Prophet Badu Kobi predicts Nigeria may not go to the polls in 2019 as planned because disaster awaits the country after the presidential elections.

The Ghanaian Prophet who is the Spiritual leader of the Glorious Wave Chapel International, reportedly made the prediction in his prophecies for 2019 during the 31st December Crossover Service in his church in Sakumono, Ghana.

Emmanuel Badu Kobi who claimed that he foresees an attack on the electoral commissioner of Nigeria, added that President Buhari is hatching plans to rig the upcoming presidential election.

“Nigeria’s election may be put on hold or disaster after the elections. Either they’ll put it on hold or they’ll let the elections go on but after the election, the results will bring trouble because Buhari has decided to steal the election,” Prophet Badu Kobi said in his prophecies for 2019 during the 31st December Watchnight Service in his church.

He also foresees an attack on the Electoral Commissioner of Nigeria.

Nigerian televangelist and general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman also buttressed his colleague’s vision during his 2019 prophecies concerning Nigeria that the elections will be hundred per cent rigged.

He further advised President Muhammadu Buhari to retire from active politics and make way for another person to take his place.

“Birthdays are of pagan, NOT Christian origin!”, Daddy Freeze reacts on the essence of Christmas

The leader of Free the Sheeple Movement, Daddy Freeze has asked those celebrating Christmas to stop fooling the world into believing it’s Christ’s birthday when it’s actually a pagan god, Nimrod’s birthday.

Daddy Freeze added that birthdays are pagan rituals under pagan gods and not of Christian origin. He went further to add that Christ never celebrated his birthday or any birthday at all.Daddy-Freeze

His Instagram post reads:

“You can’t just conjure up a date and fool the world into believing it’s Christ’s birthday when it’s actually Nimrod’s birthday that coincides with the winter solstice of the druids and pagans.
Christ NEVER celebrated his birthday or any birthday at all, so why bring him into your pagan rituals and under your pagan gods?

At the request of pagan ruler Herod Antipas step daughter Salome, at his birthday party, John the Baptist was beheaded.
Birthdays are of pagan, NOT Christian origin! Celebrate your birthdays all you want, JUST KEEP CHRIST OUT OF IT! ~FRZ”

Have you ever wondered if you are indeed doing the right thing when it concerns Christmas celebration?

See New Punishment Handed To Rev. Fr. Mbaka By The Catholic Church

Rev. MbakaRev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministries Enugu Nigeria (AMEN) has been banned from giving endorsements to any politician or political parties ahead of the 2019 General Elections by the Catholic Church.

Bishop Callistus Onaga of Enugu Catholic Diocese announced the ban at the weekend while speaking at Priestly Ordination in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Emene Enugu.

According to Bishop Onaga, the church has also asked Mbaka to send a written apology to former Anambra State Governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) vice presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over their recent altercation.

Mbaka-1“The Church does not want prophesy. We are in a democracy and not theocracy. We asked Mbaka to send a written apology to Obi. What he did was not apology but apologetics. He wrote an apology before us and I hope it will be in the social press now,” Onaga said.

The Bishop insisted that Mbaka must adhere to the instructions of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) and do not get involved in the endorsement of candidates.

Onaga maintained that Mbaka should not stay in one place and decide who will win or lose.mbaka-3-2

“Stop prophesying on who is going to be what. He (Mbaka) told us he was sorry. He said he didn’t know what happened and promised it won’t happen again.
“Let us pray for Mbaka. There’s no doubt that Mbaka is a gifted priest. Stop misleading him. You (the followers) pushed him into doing what he did. Daddy, Daddy, Daddy and he misspoke. Follow him, but pray for him.

You (people who reacted to his outbursts) called him names. When I heard it I also called him names. The Church is a human church with all human limitations.
“I hope with this public statement everything will now rest so that we will continue with our Mass the way we’ve been doing it” Onaga said.

Mbaka-and-Peter-ObiFather Mbaka became very popular with political prophesies in 2015 when he successfully predicted the victory of Muhammadu Buhari of APC over the then incumbent President, Goodluck Jonathan of PDP.

BREAKING: Catholic Church bars Rev. Fr. Mbaka

mbaka-3-2The Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria has reiterated that Catholic Priests under the canon law of the Church are barred from active involvement in Partisan Politics.

This reaction is coming shortly after an altercation between controversial catholic Priest, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual director of Adoration Ministries, Enugu and Ex-governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.Mbaka-1

CSN’s Secretary General, Rev. Fr. Ralph Madu, who spoke to journalists at a press conference, in Abuja on Thursday said that the Catholic church was disappointed with the altercation and had asked appropriate authorities to take necessary action.

“While we are sure that Enugu Catholic Diocese, where Fr. Mbaka is incardinated, has or is taking appropriate measures on the reported incident, we wish to categorically reiterate that no Catholic priest is permitted to be involved in partisan politics.Rev. Mbaka

All liturgical ceremonies must never be used as an occasion for campaigns ahead of 2019 political activities. Catholic church remains apolitical and would never support or subscribe to any political party.

Our concern is for peaceful election process, seen to be free, fair, credible and just, and a democratic governance that would herald peace, justice, equity, development and religious freedom for the common good.”mbaka-3-2

Mbaka has faced criticisms online over his ’embarrassment’ of Obi during the church’s recent Bazaar.

Unbelievable: See the American Pastor that wants you to watch Porn Bolz-Weber, pastor and author of the book Shameless: A Sexual Reformation, discusses issues concerning the church and sexual ethics in an interview with Out in Jersey. She formerly pastored Denver’s House for All Sinners and Saints and is an ordained Lutheran. Bolz-Weber is well known and regarded in progressive Christianity. Her sermons regularly confront traditional Christian values and beliefs.

According to Bolz-Weber, there is no need to shame any person who consumes porn if the latter is “ethically sourced.” The pastor-author said that pleasure is complex for humans as one could either fall on or fall off any side of the spectrum. Human beings, she pointed out, either indulge in excess, leading to obesity or follow diets where a majority of foods are eliminated. Both these kinds of restriction or indulgence equally harm the body.nadiabolzweber2

Bolz-Weber clearly understands the exploitative nature of the porn industry. She is also aware of the rampant drug problem along with a number of shady practices. In her statement, she means porn where no person is physically hurt or manipulated.

All kinds of sex acts can be done by consenting adults. Thus there is nothing wrong with recording the said act and distributing that particular record. The content of the last point had conservatives up in arms. As per conservative thinking, evidence exists linking sexual health and pornography consumption.American-pastor

Joshua Sharp of the Baptist Standard responded to Bolz-Weber’s opinion saying pornography, ethically sourced or not, is the antithesis to spiritual vitality, relationships, and individual sexual health. Which is specifically mentioned in Corinthians where the faithful are urged to run away from sexual immorality. Other than sex, every other sin is done outside the body. The Bible teaches the reader the body represents the temple of Holy Spirit which God has given to humans.

It means God is present in the body and it must be glorified. Sexual sin, including the consumption of pornography, is thus destructive not only to the consumer but also to the body of Christ. Sharp said Bolz-Weber’s attempts “to legitimize porn flies in the face of biblical teaching threatens the health of the church. There is nothing ‘ethical’ about pornography.”

Pastor Storms Mortuary To Resurrect His Dead Wife In Kenya

A pastor caused a stir at the Gakwegori Funeral Home in Kenya when he stormed the mortuary to resurrect his dead wife.

Pastor Robinson Karumba of Eagle Wings Prophetic Ministries, arrived at the mortuary with his members in the early hours of Wednesday, demanding the body of his wife released to him,The deceased, Ms. Polly Rosa Ng’ endo who died following an undisclosed illness on Sunday, was released to his husband, who then took her into a secluded room, laid her naked body on a table and applied anointing oil.

Sources say after the pastor applied anointing oil on his late wife, he and his members started singing praise songs accompanied with a guitar and keyboard.

According to the pastor, who brought along clothes and shoes for his wife, he was following the teachings of Jesus which, he claimed, directed the believers would be raised from the dead after four days.
‘We believe she is not dead, but merely resting.

She is a believer like me and has preached in many places and with prominent preachers. I had to do what I have always preached. Jesus was called to Lazarus home after he had died for four days.’ he said.

Explaining while he brought along musical instruments to the Mortuary, he said:

‘Even Daughter said my mother will come back on Wednesday and that is why I came today. We are playing guitar and other instruments because she was a musician.’

The preacher also said people are preparing for her burial scheduled for Saturday, but if she resurrects before then, he will stage up a thanksgiving ceremony instead.

‘Back at home, people have been preparing for the burial. If she resurrects, Saturday would be a thanksgiving ceremony. We will be marking her resurrection,’ he said.

Flood Forced Worshippers To Hold Their Church Service Outside

The devastating effects of the raging flood that has been ravaging about seven local governments in Anambra State, has not dampened the spirit of Christians in the area.

According to a report by Mike Obiajulu, some Christians in Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area, insisted on holding their Sunday Service within the small portion of land they could find around their submerged church.

Meanwhile, report has it that all primary, post-primary and teriyaki schools in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra have been temporarily closed in reaction to the flood disaster in the area.

The council Chairman, Mr Arinze Awogu disclosed this while inaugurating the distribution of relief materials at the council headquarters, Atani.

Awogu said the closure of the schools was in line with the directive of Governor Willie Obiano, who said schools in the affected areas should be closed to avert loss of life.

No President is powerful & Irresponsible As Nigerian President – Mathew Kukah

The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Dr. Matthew Hassan Kukah, has said that no president of any country in the world can be as irresponsible in the usage of power as a Nigerian president.

Kukah said this in Akure, Ondo State on Friday while delivering the annual Ulefunta/Oyemekun Festival lecture, entitled: “Building blocks for a good society.” held at the Francis Idibiye Lecture hall of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

According to Kukah, the structure of the Nigerian presidential office makes the holders of the office extremely powerful, so much that he can deploy power the way he want.

He said: “No president in the world has the kind of power the Nigerian president has and as such, no president in the world can be as irresponsible as the Nigerian president. His power is so much that he can give oil bloc to his girlfriend and many others.

You thus can’t be a man of honour and live in a country like Nigeria and not be angry.”
Kukah said that from the first Nigerian Prime Minister, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, to President Muhammadu Buhari, virtually all of them were dragged into the presidential office, maintaining that this was unlike the presidency of the United States of America where the president does not emerge by circumstance.

Kukah, who said that the Nigerian society is in ferment, maintained that although Instability, the type that Nigeria faces as a country, is inevitable in any system, however noted that developing mechanisms that will confront the instability is the hallmark of great countries.

Kukah however singled two former Nigerian leaders out of the leadership rot, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Alhaji Aminu Kano, whom he called “architects of a good society.”

While stating that it is not enough for a people to have the building blocks of a good society alone, Kukah also maintained that Nigeria has not been able to build a good society because the country has not obeyed the rules of design.

While reviewing the lecture, Prof. Kole Omotoso, lauded Kukah for what he called a very profound lecture and said the only point of departure he had was Kukah’s submission that education has the potential to remedy the problems of Nigeria’s existence.

Guests at the occasion included the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; and Chief Reuben Fasoranti, the chairman of the occasion.

Trouble: Comedian Okey Bakassi calls Nigerian pastors ignorant

Religion is a very serious issue in Nigeria.

A lot of people see their religion as better than the rest, having different beliefs and they expect that others should respect that perspective.

This has spurned the latest of rants from several men of God concerning Nigerian comedians.

Recently, some pastors have lashed at comedians accusing them of making light of the message of God.

The few pastors who have disapproved of such comedians for it have asked why they are quick to crack jokes about Christianity and say little or nothing about other religions.

While defending his colleagues in an exclusive chat, veteran Nigerian comedian, Okey Bakassi, who has been in the business for 25 years, replied that such pastors were speaking out of ignorance. He said,

“I think sometimes people talk out of ignorance. With due respect to what people believe in; when some of these pastors talk, you see a lot of ignorance. If you do not understand some aspects of a business, you either keep quiet or ask questions.

“You can also do your research. We do not talk so much about Islam simply because most comedians are Christians and we understand our own religion more than other religions, so we try to stay away from subjects we know nothing about.

“Do you want us to talk about a religion we know nothing about and stand the risk of misinforming the public as opposed to talking about what we know and understand?

Even the pastors, do they talk about Islam on the pulpits?

Is it not Christianity they talk about and don’t they make light of some things in the Bible just to get their message across?

So why is it that some people just like to pick on comedians as if we are the only problem they have?

I think it is ignorance.”

Incidentally, the actor and comedian, who recently celebrated his 17th wedding anniversary to his wife, talked about how it would not be easy for anyone to be married to an entertainer.

“For me, marriage has been an amazing experience. It has been challenging for my wife. I doff my hat for anybody who is married to an entertainer, especially when they are not in the same business as it can be emotionally challenging to have a partner who is always out there all the time, mingling with all manner of people.

“If you have a partner who has been with you for 17 years, they must trust you a lot. Trust me, in those years, there must have been a lot of tolerance. Half the time you are not even at home as you are away entertaining lots of people.”

“My wife has been my backbone and everything I accomplish today, I give my wife the credit because if she did not hold the home front together and allow me do what I had to do, this job would not be easy for me.

My job is to make people happy and if the home front is not good, then my job would be difficult. She has done an amazing job and I am very grateful for that.”

woman who sabotaged her best friend business was exposed by a pastor in the church (VIDEO)

Some pastors of this days have really turned the house of God into a market place and money making venture, so was the case here where a pastor made a declaration about two friend, Fight erupted between two women in a South African Church after the pastor of the church gave a revelation to one of the women, whose best friend is the one behind her problems.

Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International began to prophesy two friends who came to his church for prayers and the prophesy led to a fight when it was revealed that one was responsible for the other’s business woes.

One of the women is named Pamela and the other is Japa.

During the prophecy, Pastor Lukau told Japa that her business partner who usually invests so much in her business has suddenly turned his back on her.

Japa agreed that this is true and the pastor went on to say that the business partner has also demanded that she returns the plane tickets he bought for her and has also taken back the money he gave to her.

Japa also agreed that the pastor was right. The pastor then went on to tell her that the cause of her problems is someone very close to her.

At this point, congregants were looking shocked. The pastor then goes on to name the person behind her problems and it turned out to be Pamela.

Pamela admitted to this and apologized repeatedly, saying she was jealous.

“Pamela Why?” the pastor kept repeating.

China Force Christians To Denounce Faith, Burn BIBLES And Close Churches

There has been reports in China on Chinese officials destroying cross, burning bibles, closing churches and forcing Christian believers to sign papers renouncing their faith as the crackdown on religious congregations in Beijing and several provinces intensifies.

According to Foxnews, the suppression of religious freedoms comes as an official government campaign to “Sinicize” religion by demanding loyalty to the atheist Communist party and removing any potential challenge to the party’s power in the country.

“The international community should be alarmed and outraged for this blatant violation of freedom of religion and belief,” Bob Fu of China Aid, said.

“The situation for Chinese #Christians becomes more dire by the day. We are working tirelessly to put maximum pressure on China stop the persecution,” Jay Sekulow, President Trump attorney and Chief Counsel at the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ), wrote in a tweet.

The persecution of Christians in China is nothing new.

A report by the watchdog group Freedom House found that Christians and other religious groups in China have been persecuted since 2012, Fox News reported.

A third of all religious believers in China who belong to a faith group were also found to face “high” to “very high” levels of persecution, which ranges from bureaucratic harassment and economic exploitation to harsh prison terms and even violence, the report said.

But experts and activists say the Chinese government is now waging the most severe suppression of Christianity in the country since religious freedoms were granted by the Chinese constitution in 1982.

Witnesses at the scene of the crash said Amir had been drunk while driving, and that a bottle of Benelyn Codeine syrup was found in the car.

SaharaReporters contacted Faruku Ladan Ddaji, Secretary of the Sultanate, but he said he couldn’t confirm as he was out of town.

Politics is like religion— Sultan

Muhammad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, has likened politics to religion.

He established the similarity when he received the Catholic bishops of Nigeria at his palace in Sokoto on Friday.

“Politics is a choice, like religion, therefore, let’s not fight each other because of defection,” he said.

“We must tell ourselves the truth and speak the truth. Everything is not okay in Nigeria.

Let’s stop hiding under religion, ethnicity or region. I know we have problems in Nigeria. Let’s not deceive ourselves.

“There is no fight between Christianity and Islam, but maybe disagreement between Muslims and Christians. But we must try and fish out extremists in our midst.

Though, you cannot completely fish out bad eggs from the society, we should continue doing our part to ensure a peaceful country.

“We have our problems and challenges. But we should collectively try and overcome them.

As leaders, we must try and work for peace. There is no problem in this world that defies solution unless we are not honest. If not, we will overcome the problems.

“We must also educate our followers that despite the challenges, we belong to one God Almighty but choose to worship God in different ways.”

However, Nigel said he now tries as much as possible to stay focused, ignoring the women who ‘worry’ him.

“Resign Now, Your Govt A Disappointment” Rev. Obimma Tells Buhari

The Spiritual Director, Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Ebubemonso, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign.

Reports says the cleric based his call on Buhari’s alleged inability to take charge of happenings in the country.

Ebubemonso, who spoke as part of activities marking his 7th year Priestly ordination at his Umudioka residence, also demanded unreserved apology from the Federal Government to Ndigbo, particularly members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
He accused Buhari’s government of proscribing the group and branding them terrorists, “whereas terror groups like the Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram killing people are handled with kid gloves.”

His speech read: “As you can see, there is crisis in the country.

President Muhammadu Buhari is not in control of this country.

People are dying on daily basis and I am not happy with it at all.

“There is indeed crisis in the country.

I pray that our good Lord will salvage this country, Nigeria. There is crisis, even though those in authority are denying that there is political unrest in the country.

I thank God, that God is answering our prayers. I believe that very soon, all these frictions, fracas and crisis will come to an end, because there is God.

“Well, my message for Muhammadu Buhari is let him resign since he cannot control the country. I said let him resign honourably because as you can see, he is not in control of the country, not only that, he is a sectional leader, a tribalistic leader.

“So, my stand is let him resign, as you can see his strength could no longer carry him. I am envisaging a situation where he will not be alive to complete the second term, if he comes out to campaign again.

Let him resign honourably and find people who have the strength and capacity of managing the nation to carry on the baton.

Nigeria is a big country and needs experts who have perfected in the political field to take control of the affairs of the nation. President Buhari is not that man.

On the controversies over the INEC’s 2019 election budget, he said: “the issue of INEC, the Senate and the Presidency, there are so many interests; they are saying so many things that we don’t know what to believe. I can’t say for sure but what I have to say is that you can see the inclination of political interests in the entire episode.

“Mark my words, APC groups are warming up to rig the election, as you can see the evidences are there. If by vote counting, APC can never win any election. If it is by counting of votes, there is no way this government will return because it is a government that is built on selfishness, nepotism, injustice.

Government that is killing people, people are not happy with this government, so they knew that they under performed. What of those promises that Muhammadu Buhari made to the Nation before the election, none was accomplished, that, for me is a government of deception, running a government with deceit, it is very very bad.”

He added that “after the promises Buhari gave Nigerians before he was elected, nothing has changed. As you can see, many of our youths are unemployed, many a times when I pass or walk around the universities on mission, I see our young men, you know undergraduates, battalions of them, I ask myself what plans has the federal government have but as you can see, they don’t have any plan for them, that is why you will see somebody after being a graduate, the person will engage in one business or the other for him to survive.

“The hope of every average young man in other countries, their efforts in entering the university, studying very very hard and struggling to survive, trying to get degrees is for them to get a good job, but in our country Nigeria nothing is sure.

You are a graduate, you have a wonderful certificate and that certificate is barren, certificate without satisfaction and government has no plan. It’s a pity.

“You know it has been my greatest worry. Go over there at the university and you will see people, you will see men and women, you will see our young undergraduates, sons and daughters, you know they are studying, but I am telling you that government has no plans for them, especially this government of President Buhari.

Nigeria has never experience such a government, let Buhari stand up and tell us his achievements so far, let him say what he has achieved so far.

“This government has really under performed, really they came with the ideology of change but they didn’t change anything, so we are praying for another change, this one is real change that will upturn Buhari’s change that choked us.

He came to power on false change promises which many believed; even a prophet of God prayed for him because everybody wanted change that will lead to a prosperous nation but here we are from frying pan to fire.

Buhari is a huge disappointment to Nigeria.”

The Priest did not spare the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, who he said were not speaking out.

He said, “well, for me, Ohanaeze Ndigbo should know that Igbos are being marginalized and their voices are not felt, the voices of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is not felt.

You know they are representing Igbos, let them come out and stand for Igbos and let the world and Igbos know they are standing for them, they can’t be answering Ohanaeze Ndigbo for nothing.

“I am not trying to say that they have not been making efforts but their efforts are not enough.

Now IPOB came up as a result of poor governance and they are agitating that the federal government is marginalizing them.

Igbos have been undergoing marginalization, that was the crusade of Nnamdi Kanu and Nnamdi Kanu was suppressed and intimidated, but I want to tell the Federal Republic of Nigeria that you can never kill an ideology.

“Let there be a strong dialogue between Ohaneze Ndigbo and IPOB to have one voice for Ndigbo.

I advise the IPOB to go for peace even in their agitations, let there be love. I stand here to tell the country that their agitations are right.

The agitations about the sovereign state of Biafra, about intimidation and suppression, they are right, so let the federal government look into it.

“If really Igbos are being marginalized, let them do something, we can’t be answering one Nigeria for mouth, just mere camouflage, one Nigeria on a table of sabotage.

When you stifle what is meant for general consumption, that is economic sabotage, when you strangle what you supposed to give to brothers, that is wickedness.

“Let the federal government look into these agitations; it won’t end by shooting them, killing them on daily basis. Buhari should register an apology to Ndigbo for that kind of thing, how can innocent people who are agitating be proscribed?

They are freedom fighters and Buhari proscribed them, branded them as terrorists whereas Boko Haram are killing people and nobody has ever proscribed them or branded them as terrorists.

Fulani herdsmen are killing people on daily basis and nobody has ever proscribed and branded them terrorists.

But agitating youths in the South East, my dear brothers were branded terrorists by their country Nigeria. Is this not outright intimidation?”

Imam Honoured By US For Saving Christians In Plateau

The United States has honoured the septuagenarian Imam Abdullahi Abubakar who saved about 300 Christians from attackers in Nghar Yelwa village of Barkin Ladi local government of the Plateau state.

The cleric was recognised and honoured at an event organised by the US embassy in Jos as Nigerians were urged to emulate the cleric’s gesture.

The Imam saved about 300 persons on June 24 when suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded about 15 communities in the Barkin Ladi LGA, killing over 200 persons.

The people, mainly Christians, were said to be fleeing from a neighbouring village in the Barkin Ladi LGA when the Imam hid them in his house and mosque.

“I hid the women in my personal house and after that, I took the men into the mosque and hid them there,” Imam Abubakar had stated.

However, the assailants caught up with the Imam, forcefully demanding that he release those who were Christians in the mosque.

But the cleric said deceived the bandits that all those in the mosque were Muslims and upon hearing this, the attackers left him and continued with their killing elsewhere.

Martin Kofi Danso, who is the founder of Miracle Arena for All Nations, which operates 17 branches in various countries, reportedly impregnated Chris-Ann Bartley and the case is in court.

But the pastor wants to have his identity kept secret because the publicity could damage his reputation and hurt him financially.

However, a judge ruled on Tuesday that Danso can’t keep his identity secret in the paternity case.

The Star reports that Ontario Superior Court Justice Fred Myers dismissed a request by Martin Kofi Danso to extend a publication ban and sealing order on a court file related to allegations he fathered a child Bartley.

Bartley’s lawyer, Theodora Oprea, said after Tuesday’s hearing, that a DNA test has since confirmed Danso is the father of her client’s baby boy, who is now six months old.

According to the Miracle Arena website, “Prophet Danso” is a devoted father of four who travels the world “impacting and empowering millions of lives through his powerful preaching and teaching ministry.”

His wife, JoAnne Danso, is a reverend with the church known as “Mama.” Court heard Tuesday she is expecting twins any day now.

China demolishes churches, confiscates Bibles — Christianity Crackdown

There are outcries in China as the ruling Communist party continues to intensify its control over religious freedom in the country.

Daily Mail reports that churches were raided and demolished, Bibles and other holy books were confiscated and new laws were established to monitor religious activities in the country’s province of Henan, which has one of the largest Christian populations in China.

Information gathered that under President Xi Jinping, China’s most powerful leader since Mao Zedong, believers are seeing their freedoms reduced even as the country undergoes a religious revival.

Experts and activists say that the president is waging the most severe systematic suppression of Christianity in the country since religious freedom was written into the Chinese constitution in 1982.

Guo, a 62-year-old Chinese shopkeeper had waited nearly his entire adult life to see his dream of building a church come true – a brick house with a sunny courtyard and spacious hall with room for 200 believers.

But in March, about a dozen police officers and local officials suddenly showed up at the church on his property and made the frightened congregants disperse.

They ordered that the cross, a painting of the Last Supper and Bible verse calligraphy be taken down.

And they demanded that all services stop until each person along with the church itself was registered with the government, said Guo, who gave his last name only from fear of retribution.

The crackdown on Christianity is reportedly part of President Xi’s strategy to ‘Sinicise’ all the nation’s religions by infusing them with “Chinese characteristics” such as loyalty to the Communist Party.

Over the last several months, local governments across the country have reportedly shut down hundreds of private Christian “house churches”.

A statement last week from 47 in Beijing alone said they had faced “unprecedented” harassment since February.

According to Daily Mail, a dozen Chinese Protestants described gatherings that were raided, interrogations and surveillance, and one pastor said hundreds of his congregants were questioned individually about their faith.

“Chinese leaders have always been suspicious of the political challenge or threat that Christianity poses to the Communist regime,” said Xi Lian, a scholar of Christianity in China at Duke University.

“Under Xi, this fear of Western infiltration has intensified and gained a prominence that we haven’t seen for a long time.”

Those who resist pay the price After Jin Mingri, a prominent pastor who leads Zion Church in Beijing, refused local authorities’ request to install surveillance cameras inside his house church, police individually questioned hundreds of members of the 1,500-person congregation, the pastor said.

He added that his congregants faced veiled threats and many were asked to sign a pledge promising to leave Zion, which the government agents called illegal, politically incorrect and a cult.

Some people lost their jobs or were evicted from rented apartments because police intimidated their bosses and landlords.

“A lot of our flock are terrified by the pressure that the government is putting on them,” he said.

“It’s painful to think that in our own country’s capital, we must pay so dearly just to practice our faith.”

In Zhengzhou, Henan’s capital, all that is left of one house church is shattered glass, tangled wires and torn hymnbooks, strewn among the rubble of a knocked-down wall.

The church inside a commercial building had reportedly served about 100 believers for years. But in late January, nearly 60 officials from the local religion department and police station appeared without warning.

Armed with electric saws, they demolished the church, confiscated Bibles and computers and held a handful of young worshippers – including a 14-year-old girl – at a police station for more than 10 hours, according to a church leader.

Protestant churches are not spared Even Protestant churches already registered with the state have not been spared greater restrictions.

Five Protestant churches recently visited in Henan all bore notices at their entrances stating that minors and party members were not allowed inside, Daily Mail reports.

A banner above one church door exhorted members to “implement the basic direction of the party’s religious work.”

Another church erected a Chinese flag at the foot of its steps. Islam, other religions also face repression Elsewhere in China, religious practices and activities remain strictly controlled.

In Xinjiang, the newspaper reports that Muslim-majority region in the country’s far west, millions of ethnic Uighurs face repression and torture as authorities claimed to rule out potential separatist movements.

Former inmates have told of the horror after being detained in what the Chinese government calls “political re-education camps”, where they were physically and mentally tortured and as punishment, were forced to eat pork and drink alcohol.

In late July, children in traditionally Buddhist Tibet were required to sign an agreement to ‘not take part in any form of religious activity’ during the summer holidays, according to the Global Times.

The policy appears to reflect increasingly harsh restrictions on the Himalayan region’s traditional Buddhist culture, largely aimed at reducing the influence of the region’s spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, who lives in exile in India.

On Tuesday, August 7, state media reportedly announced that all religious institutions across the country are now required to fly the national flag, in a move to assimilate religions into the socialist society.

Xinhua claimed the rule is necessary to strengthen awareness of respect for the flag – a symbol of the country’s embrace of communism in 1949 – and preserve the flag’s dignity, adding that the practice can enhance the public’s national consciousness and civic awareness.
